Adam Louis Troldahl, a native of Los Angeles, California, joined Webster in August 2017. He brings with him professional experience in US higher education, having worked in admissions, international education, and the registrar's office at several private institutions. Adam double-majored in English and German Studies at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating with honors from Macalester in 2009, he participated in the Fulbright Commission-administered US Teaching Assistantship program in Austria for two years, serving as the English native speaker at the Pädagogische Hochschulen in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg) and Vienna. He is also an honors graduate of the University of Vienna’s program in Anglophone Literatures & Cultures and a former freelance corporate language trainer and private English tutor. Adam has spent the better part of the last ten years living and working in Austria. He is currently the Chair of the University Senate.
