Who we are: The Division of Global Education (DGE) comprises four units in the Office of Academic Affairs that focus on developing and delivering international education opportunities for students and faculty.

What we do: The Division of Global Education (DGE) works collaboratively to:

  • Develop, support, resource and promote mobility opportunities for students and faculty across Webster’s global network of campuses and partners
  • Build and maintain partnerships internally and externally to advance and strengthen international education and global mobility
  • Engage with other U.S. institutions in support of increased study abroad participation and shared internationalization goals
  • Organize and support language and culture educational programming that enhances global awareness and understanding in our communities

The Advisory Committee: The DGE Advisory Committee is a consultative committee, advising on the development of new initiatives and the enhancement of current practices within the scope of the Division of Global Education. In addition, Committee Members serve as international education ambassadors across the institution.

What’s next: In addition to continuing and enhancing the many activities of the four units (see links in the menu), the Division of Global Education (DGE) is excited to launch three new projects:

  • Establishing and convening an advisory committee of faculty, staff and students to help guide the development of new initiatives and strengthen existing programs (Completed)
  • Enhancing communication with our international campuses to support, streamline, and advance academic collaboration
  • Creating a website to share DGE activities and help promote international programs and activities across the Webster network
