Margot (Meg) came to Pearson House from the East Coast in 1997. She has published on Kate Chopin, Ernest Hemingway, and Alice Dunbar-Nelson and is currently working on an essay on Lewis Nordan, a living Southern fiction writer. In addition to her classes here at Webster, Meg works as a volunteer with Prison Performing Arts, teaching classic works by dramatists such as Sophocles and Shakespeare in the Missouri prisons. She has also taught in an MA program at the Universidad de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.
