The policies governing students who wish to add or drop a class, or withdraw, can be found in the catalogs: undergraduate; graduate (Links open in new windows). Note that students must take action to add, drop or withdraw by completing the appropriate form notifying their instructor is not sufficient. If a student notifies you that he/she intends to drop or withdraw, refer the student to the catalog.
