Websites / Search Engines

With Google, you are able to type a few key words and get thousands of results. Quality websites that you can recommend to your students are harder to come by. Fortunately, there are a variety of tools you can use to select Internet sources that will support the learning objectives of your course.

As an aid to students and faculty, the Librarians have compiled lists of web sites that address major subject areas, especially those related to the Webster University curriculum. In general, sites included on the library's pages are comprehensive in nature and serve as gateways or portals to the areas they cover. Users become acquainted with the major starting points for research on the Internet and in turn can use these sites to locate narrower items of interest.
