Vienna Student Life

Webster Vienna boasts students from 70 countries. Our diverse community bridges cultural gaps by providing a variety of activities for students, such as Orientation, cultural excursions, and sponsored events that will help students make lasting memories.

While studying at Webster Vienna, students can join the Student Government Association (SGA) or any of the student clubs and organizations, such as the Soccer Club, Volleyball Club, Model UN, and more.

Webster Vienna students are very active in the greater Vienna community; from visiting the Ball of Sciences every January to volunteering at the UN Women's Guild Bazaar, study abroad students can join one or all of our organized excursions to key Viennese and Austrian cultural activities.

Culture shock is a real experience many students face during their time abroad. The Webster Vienna Counseling Services provide free counseling to all students free of charge. Students also have access to a variety of services on our campus, including the Language Center, the Quant Center, and the Student Resource Center.

Vienna: Hub of Central Europe

Study abroad students travel a great deal during their time in Vienna. As one of the continent's central hubs of transport, Vienna is your gateway to the rest of the continent. Webster Vienna promotes personal growth through travel and encourages students to continue to feed their curiosity for other countries while temporarily in Europe.

In their first week in Vienna, study abroad students apply for their visa D in beautiful Bratislava, Slovakia. Webster Vienna LEADS students and the Student Resource Center accompany them on this excursion and guide them through the historic city.
