Summer 2020 Course Options
The University of Roehampton’s summer school operates in two 3-week sessions. Students are able to take one 5-credit course during each of these sessions for a total of 10 credits over the course of their six weeks in London. The courses for the Summer 2020 sessions are as follows:
Session 1:
- Two children - Options and Decisions in English Education - Department of Education
- The Psychology of Murder - Department of Psychology
- From Renaissance to Abstraction: The History of Art in London Museums - Department of Humanities
- Hidden London - Department of English and Creative Writing
- Media City and Cultural Capital - Department of Media, Culture and Language
- Introduction to the London Stage - Department of Drama, Theatre and Performance
Session 2:
- New: Acting Workshop - Department of Drama, Theatre and Performance
- The Psychology of Art - Department of Psychology
- Londonopolis – exploring the global city - Department of Social Sciences
- Gods and Heroes in Classical Mythology - Department of Humanities
- Magic, Murder and Mystery in London Literature - Department of English and Creative Writing
Courses at Roehampton can be evaluated for major/minor core credit and/or GCP credit. Be sure to speak with your Study Abroad Advisor for additional details on the course evaluation process.
